Internet Safety

Being safe on-line is a huge issue today. What strikes you the most about being safe on the Internet for you and your family? Which issues do you think you need to remember the most because of how you use the Internet at this time in your life?

  1. What strikes me the most about being safe on the Internet is the consequences of not being safe. Like how people can steal my I.D., or my personal information. Like where I live or my full name. What I think everyone needs to remember is to make their personal information private, and to only talk to people you know.

  2. What strikes me the most is you never know what someone else in a different state, or even a different country could do. Like steal your identity, and have your credit card number at the tips of there hand. The most important thing for my family and I is to just be smart online. If your safe and cyber smart you should be fine.

  3. For my family and I, internet safety is a big concern, particulary when it comes to personal information. I am an avid user of sites such as Myspace and Facebook, and my family gets worried about what I put out there for others to see. I am very cautious when it comes to that, because I know of the dangers that people my age face because of the internet.

  4. The thinks that strike me and my family the most is how many people try to get personnel info about different people. Not to give out to much info about our self. An not to talk to anybody you not no online.

  5. Dylan- What strikes me the most is how unsafe the internat is. In this present day to me the internet is so unsafe as far as acessability, you have to watch your every step. One of the biggest things i hate is how easily your identity can be stolen.
